#Chytré sluchátko from Medevio

If you work with patients in Medevio, open Chytré sluchátko with its button in the detail of a patient's request. It opens in a new tab on that patient. The name, phone, date of birth and sex come from Medevio; you do not type them again.

Chytré sluchátko never writes anything to Medevio, it only reads the patient.

#Connecting the clinic

We set up the connection during installation. We need two things from the clinic:

1. The clinic's slug. It is the clinic's part of its Medevio address, e.g. mudr-novak from my.medevio.cz/mudr-novak.
2. The clinic's API key. The clinic's administrator issues it in Medevio under Propojky → Správa API klíčů. The Read scope is all Chytré sluchátko needs. Hand the key over the way we agree on during installation.

Before storing the key we check with Medevio that it is valid and reaches your clinic, and we store it encrypted. It is never shown again, to you or to us.

One practice account may have several clinics. A clinic always belongs to one account only.

#The first time in a browser

The first time in a browser Chytré sluchátko asks you to sign in with the practice account: email and password, plus the code from your app if the account has two-step verification. The browser remembers it and the next click opens the patient straight away.

For now the practice's doctors share the practice account. On another computer or in another browser you sign in again.

On a computer several people take turns at, sign out on the link settings page (app.chytresluchatko.cz/link-settings).
